History Fair

Dylan's school had a history fair and his class dressed up as people from the war of 1812 he was a soldier.

Snow Day

Well I'm sorry to say that no matter how much I wish for summer to stay forever winter always comes and this year it seems to have decided that there is no need for fall we're just going straight for snow season. Yesterday it snowed here in UT and not just a little dusting that was gone a few minutes later, oh no it was snowing most of the day. We got a few inches and it's been cold enough still today that there is some snow still on the ground. Yuck!!! I don't like the cold! It's looking like it's gonna be a long winter someone save me PLEASE!

Katelyn was actually excited that it was snowing her and Carter kept going out to play in the snow and then coming back in to warm up. Carter asked me several times to make him a snowman but I was not going out into the cold. It's too soon I'm not ready.

Flour Fight

We were making cookies a few afternoons ago and Dylan was stirring while Katelyn held the bowl for him when suddenly he flicked the spoon and flour went all over Katelyn she of course had to get him back so he got a little messy too. Katelyn's reaction was priceless she is such a drama queen.

Family Pics

A few weeks ago we went out with our friends the Halls and decided to take some family pics for each other the kids weren't super cooperative but we did get a few decent pictures with the beautiful fall colors.

I thought this picture was funny because it was the only time Carter did something besides the stare that you see in the other 2 pictures unfortunately for the rest of us it's not so good

Dylan for this one decided that he needed to make it different so he looks like he's afraid to get close the things that boy comes up with never cease to amaze me

After we took pictures we let the kids play at the playground for a few minutes.

 Carter saw his little buddy Luke(who is behind him) doing this so he decided to try. The first few times Carter needed help at the end but he finally got over the fear.

We love books!!!!

Dylan loves to read every night before he falls asleep so I will leave the light on for a while after he goes to bed and then come in and turn it off when it's time to go to sleep. Carter not to be outdone also has to "read" every night. The other day I went in to turn out the lights and found Carter asleep like this I thought it was pretty funny that he had fallen asleep looking at a book.

Football Season

Well Nate is a bit into football, for those why didn't know. He is on two flag football teams and is working for the BYU football team again this year.

Nate at the Dallas stadium the night before the game. He wasn't able to travel with the team but he went with his buddy from Texas Ryan Larson and on Friday night they went to the stadium with the other student managers and got to check out the locker room for BYU and the cheerleaders locker room just one of the perks of the job, notice the Oklahoma team in the background
